What is Crave?

From our humble beginnings supplying artisan roasted gourmet coffee through local market stalls Crave is now expanding. Our aim is to supply high quality artisan roasted gourmet coffee UK wide from our online market stall straight to your door.   We source the highest quality coffee beans that are expertly roasted by us on 1 of our 2 roasters. The roasting process is designed to extract the very best flavours from our gourmet coffee and to get it to you as fresh as possible for maximum enjoyment.

The Best Coffee

Whether it’s an extremely pleasant Brazilian Sao Lucas with a subtle sweetness and smooth finish with a slight citric acidity or an Colombian Decaf with its distinctive flavour notes, we aim to bring some of the world’s best tasting coffee direct to your door.

Freshly Ground

Our coffees are ground to suit your needs (from fine for espresso to coarse for cafetiere – just let us know how you brew your coffee and we’ll do the rest) or supplied in whole-bean form and sealed in specialised valve pouches to keep the freshness and quality in.

Shipped to you

If you can’t visit our stall at any of our scheduled markets during the year no problem – we’ll deliver your coffee to any UK address with a postcode. Our packs fit through most UK letterboxes so no need to wait around for delivery. (See “How it Works” page)

From a genuine love of good coffee the idea of Crave was formulated whilst Jez and Adrian were on a family holiday together enjoying some of the best locally roasted gourmet coffee. The idea of wanting to spread the word and the reach of genuinely superior coffee lead to the two of us setting up Crave Coffee Limited. With the assistance of the speedplus programme in association with Keele University (a programme designed to assist small start up business get off the ground) Crave started trading in early 2015 through local artisan farmers markets.

The reaction to the quality of the Crave Coffee offered to our customers has been extremely encouraging. This has driven our desire to supply our high quality artisan roasted gourmet coffee UK wide from our online market stall straight to your door. The journey to where Crave Coffee is today has been extremely challenging but very enjoyable.

The art and craft of Coffee and the knowledge surrounding the subject is vast. The beauty of gourmet artisan roasted coffee is that you are constantly learning new things and meeting experts in all areas of the bean to cup experience.
Our travels in the UK have taken us from Inverness in the North of Scotland to the Cornish Coast in the South West of England to gain a better knowledge of the gourmet coffee market and the art and craft in producing that perfectly artisan roasted cup of coffee. We do hope you will join us in experiencing the tastes of world coffees Crave has to offer and to help us achieve the desire to spread the word of gourmet artisan roasted coffee.
